Well at least that is what you may think of me when I outline the rest of my year writing goals for you. Even I am a little daunted by what I have planned, but things in the background, which I don’t talk about here, are beginning to be a reality for me. A future that seemed so far away is now only mere months and that means my life is going to dive bomb into another chapter of its own.
So with chaos of real life looming around me I have some serious writing challenges that I have set for myself. (The following is even crazier than my new year’s resolutions).
The first is obviously getting Questionably Human published. I love this story and even though it is my first attempt at getting a novel published (and it has been rejected) I have not abandoned this novel. I have amazing help right now and am learning as much as I can soak up about this whole process. I want to see this book become a reality.
Now for the future of my writing:
Well I have my Ravenhold novels (yes novels) that are absolutely bombarding my imagination right now. The Serpent’s Kiss is the first planned novel…there is already a second planned.
My goal is to get this first book finished completely in the next couple of months so I can bring you chapters faster and then edit it to a finished product. The finished book I have planned to officially self publish in January.
Next is using Camp wrimo and Nanowrimo to complete 3 more first drafts of novels that I have outlined. June, August, and November will each give me a new novel that will be taken to completion and polished for publication.
Now to clear up a thought I worry you may be having right now; I don’t tell you any of this to brag, I tell you all this because the pressure of you knowing keeps me motivated to get this done. Putting these new goals in writing and telling someone about them keeps me from doubting myself, which I admit to you in muffled voice, can happen rather easy.
So with that worry put to rest I finish to say Thank you for all the amazing people who have entered my life because of this journey and I hope you have taken inspiration from me as I have from you.
